Dhurandhar : Is the revenge in the movie or on us?👀

Dhurandhar Part2 the Revenge Javvu madhri izhutha maida dough. With all the fever and hype surrounding this went to watch it. My timeline with those 4hours

Mindvoice 1:-  After 1hr into the film:- What is there in this film that even the royalties  of the industry are singing praises?? …Consoling myself its just 1 hour,  3 more hours to go…something exciting will turn  up

Mindvoice 2:-  The interval block … Actually there is a lot of difference between A)getting curious and anticipating “whats next”  and  B)apathetically thinking  “what’s next” now…. Unfortunately this film does not give you the benefit of thrill or guesses rather it just revels it its own glory..glory  of hero worship, glory of its predictable characters and their predictable moves, the glory of predictabilty

Mindvoice 3:- Close to 3hrs and  after.. Does this film actually bring in any feelings  of patriotism or national pride? Rather it only makes me cringe with its gore of violence and bloodshed taken to a whole new level.

Mindvoice 4 :- Uffff Almost to the end …What the—–! Hero taking revenge on villains, beating them and killing them….hadn’t  this been the case since dinosaur period or even  before that? ..is there anything new?

Mindvoice 5 :- (a different mindvoice now) ‘Mission Impossible’ completed successfully hero returns to his hometown—–was actually expecting  a royal procession welcome for the hero …but what actually happened, made me jump out of my seat and take notice because the predictability factor throughout the film got thrashed  for a couple of seconds in this scene.

Mindvoice 6 :- End credits rolling…getting  up to leave… a scene turns up then another , another yet another, yet yet another ….already 1/2 of my  day simply vanished without anything meaningful …when this is going to End …….

P.S :- Since I went to morning show …quarter of the people simply walked out almost 30 mins before it ended as it was lunch time,  90% started scrolling phones in between …And me checking time,seeing what others were upto 👀 and  hearing my own mind voice🙃 saying—” is the revenge in what i was watching or in what I was experiencing by watching ?”  … doesn’t that say how this 4hour journey  would have been??
